Mark Dionne

Owner/President

Mr. Dionne is a Commonwealth of Virginia recognized security subject matter expert and consultant with over thirty years’ experience in private and commercial sectors. His expertise is the force that drives Eagle Security Solutions, Inc to exceed all of their client's expectations. Designated and certified by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services as an expert on security-related matters, he is also certified as the Compliance Agent and Director of Training for Eagle and is responsible all training, safety and security operations.


As a US Army Paratrooper, his expertise includes airborne infantry operations including squad, platoon and company sized elements. Mr. Dionne in addition to receiving the coveted Expert Infantryman Badge and his Jump Wings was also trained as Combat Lifesaver, Demolitions, and Vehicle Operator up to 5 ton for his platoon. These mission essential skills have been successfully used by him to provide his clients and communities that he serves with exceptional skill and leadership for the past three decades.


Following his military service, he received additional training, certifications and experience in private security, electronic security, armed and unarmed security, civil and criminal investigations, executive protection, vulnerability assessments and operational risk management, physical and technical surveillance, surveillance detection and counter-surveillance tactics, techniques and systems. As a private sector security consultant, investigator and instructor, he continually provides advice and assistance to countless numbers of students, staff, other security professionals throughout Virginia and the US. He has helped everyone from private citizens & home owners, small businesses, up to fortune 500 companies and their executives. From executive protection to investigations and electronic security, his firm does it all.

Matt Alger

Director of Operations, Head of Investigations, Special Threat Response Team Leader

Mr. Alger is recognized throughout Virginia as an expert instructor and field operative with extensive experience. His expertise in high-risk non-permissive environments, whether being solo or with a team, makes him a flexible field asset. In addition to his extensive security and investigative experience, Mr. Alger is also a Nationally Certified EMT and is currently undergoing a Nationally Accredited Paramedic program. Mr. Alger considers himself a “forever-student” and is always looking for opportunities to grow in training and experience as much as possible.


While working in the field in different capacities, he was able to grasp a large variety of cross-compatible skill sets. Throughout his career, he has assisted federal and local law enforcement in uncovering critical evidence linked to missing persons and homicide cases. As a result, save state and nationwide cases were solved.


As a security specialist, he has completed over 1,000 successful arrests and provided first responder life-saving medical interventions on over 20 people. In addition, Mr. Alger completed over 700 investigations and conducted hundreds of special operations focused on promoting a safe environment for the communities he worked in. Throughout his 13 years of security experience, he has maintained the mission to protect and serve the private communities he worked with.

 

Mr. Alger also serves as an Executive Protection Specialist providing services to a variety of clients and backgrounds, including but not limited to several government informants, celebrities, and witnesses.


As a former instructor for a company he co-founded, he taught firearms tactics, CQB, hand-to-hand combatives, surveillance, TACMED, and much more. Some of Mr. Alger’s former students include various Special Forces Groups, police SWAT teams, government agencies, private contractors, and civilians. These unique training experiences have provided him with the opportunity to train with and learn from these agencies. These experiences provide him with a well-rounded understanding of relevant trade disciplines.


Outside of working in the field and teaching, he has also designed and produced several products that are still being used today, ranging from tactical nylon gear to secure electronic communications.

Ron Gorsline

Head of Maritime Security and Investigations

Mr. Gorsline is an internationally recognized security subject matter expert and consultant with over thirty years’ experience identifying and countering adversarial threats to government, private and commercial sectors. His expertise in  counter-terrorism continues to be sought after by US and International law enforcement and military units to significantly enhance mission-ready capabilities. Designated an expert on security-related matters, he has testified before members of the US Congress regarding safety and security issues.


As a US Navy SEAL, his expertise includes small unit tactics, techniques and procedures, intelligence collection, surveillance, special weapons and tactics, as well as explosive ordnance and breaching skills. These mission essential skills have been successfully used by him to instruct on and counter threats from adversarial forces throughout the world.


Following his naval career, he received additional training, certifications and experience in civil and criminal investigations, executive protection, vulnerability assessments and operational risk management, physical and technical surveillance, surveillance detection and counter-surveillance tactics, techniques and systems. As a private sector security consultant, investigator and instructor, he continually provides advice and assistance in the US and globally for select US and international law enforcement and military organizations, commercial cruise line, hospitality and energy (oil and gas) clients to focus and enhance criminal and counter-terrorism detection and response. He has worked as close personal protection for high level VIPs and provided security analysis for the State of Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office regarding critical infrastructure projects.


Mr. Gorsline’s portfolio includes work with various police SWAT and Special Response Units, as well as conducting surveillance and counter-surveillance training and operations for various US Government Agencies, to include the US Department of State Global Anti-terrorism Assistance Program.
